Pilgrim Virgin Statue
How to Host the Pilgrim Virgin Statue
Place this statue of the Blessed Mother in a place of honor in your home. During the week, spend time in prayer in front of the statue. While we do not pray to statues, we recognize that sacred images help us to be intimately aware of the holy ones to whom we pray.
The enclosed Catholic Devotional offers prayers including the following:
Litany of the Blessed Virgin (p 13)
Salutation to the Blessed Virgin Mary (p 16)
The Divine Praises (p 20)
Jesus, Help Me (p 29)
Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes (p 34)
Prayers for Healing (p 44)
Prayer of Abandonment (p 47)
The Salve Regina (p 56)
Prayer for One’s Family (p 57)
Prayer for Husbands and Wives (p 58)
A Child’s Prayer for Parents (p 59)
A Prayer of Parents for Their Children (p 60)
In Times of Grief (p 62)
A Prayer for Those in Temptation (p 66)
Remember that no time in prayer is wasted, even if no words are spoken. Rest in God’s presence and receive His abundant grace!
Please return the Pilgrim Virgin Statue to the left side confessional prior to the Saturday 5:00 pm Mass. In the event of emergency or inclement weather that prevents you from returning the statue on time, contact the Parish Office as soon as possible: 570-385-1031.
