Jesus tells us as recorded only in the Gospel of John, ‘I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’ All of us in this world walk with varying shades of darkness in our lives at different times in our lives. Our faith refers to it as ‘suffering’. We can all honestly say that we have been experiencing this darkness since we have been asked to ‘stay home’ and ‘shelter in place’. Did you ever imagine you would miss simply going to ‘almost anywhere’ to do ‘almost anything’? Our Parish Retreat Team invites all of you as a family to join us in praying the Rosary of Light on the first Saturday of June, the 6th. Please remember to include in your petitions to the Blessed Mother, prayers for all who are suffering and have suffered because of this coronavirus pandemic along with the pandemic rosary petitions.
