St. Ambrose COVID-19 (coronavirus) Updates
Diocesan Update May 14, 2021
In keeping with new guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, those who are fully vaccinated no longer need to wear masks at Mass.
Those who are not fully vaccinated must continue to wear their masks for their protection, and for the protection of others.
“Fully vaccinated” is defined as having waited at least two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose vaccine, such as Pfizer or Moderna, or at least two weeks after a single-dose vaccine like Johnson & Johnson.
St. Ambrose Mass Schedule
Daily Mass
Monday - Thursday 8:30AM. Church doors will open at 8:00AM
Weekend Mass - to be celebrated in the Church until maximum occupancy is reached.
Saturday 5:00PM. Church doors will open at 4:30PM
Sunday 8:30AM and 10:30AM. Church doors will open at 8:00AM and 10:00AM
Low-Gluten hosts are available. Please contact a sacristan at least 20 minutes before Mass.
St. Ambrose Live Stream Mass Schedule
The Daily Mass will be live streamed on our St. Ambrose Religious Education Facebook page at 8:30AM Monday through Thursday. The Mass will also be recorded and uploaded to our St. Ambrose website homepage at approximately 10:30AM Monday through Thursday.
The Weekend Mass will be live streamed on our St. Ambrose Religious Education Facebook page for each of the weekend Masses. A recording will be available after the Saturday 5:00PM Mass.

St. Ambrose Church Private Prayer Schedule
The Church is open for private prayer. The center doors on the rectory side of the church will be unlocked. All other doors are locked.
- Starting June 1:
- Monday - Friday: 9:30AM - 2:30PM
- Saturday: 12:00PM - 4:00PM
Confession Schedule
Confessions will be heard on Saturdays in the Chapel from 3:30PM - 4:00PM.
Please keep to the 6 foot social distancing guideline.
Parish Office
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00AM until 3:30PM. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 12:30PM.
In order to limit the number of people in the office, visitors must make an appointment. Please call the office during office hours to make an appointment. Following Diocesan and State protocol, visitors entering the office must wear a mask. Once you arrive, you will be required to fill-out a questionnaire as will as have your temperature taken and recorded.
Office staff are still available via phone and email. You can also continue to drop off contributions, Mass cards and memorial requests, and other information at the Rectory by using the mail slot in the rectory door.

All Parish gatherings, other than Masses, are still cancelled.
Votive Candles in the Chapel
Diocesan directives request that those lighting candles to please sanitize your hands before using the lighting sticks to light your candle. As usual, you may place your offering in the box attached to the candle rack.
Mass Obligation Restored The obligation to attend Mass will resume on August 15, 2021. More information can be found in the news release from Bishop Schlert or at AD Today.
